 | "Schiaparelli" star buttons Three striking late deco buttons in red marbled satin catalin plastic moulded into fabulous faceted star shapes.These very large buttons are reputed to have come from a couture Schiaparelli jacket. Elsa Schiaparelli was a design maverick who brought wit and sharp tailoring to all her garments, and her attention to detail meant that special buttons or fastenings were often made for her. We've found a written description of these buttons which matches but we can't be 100% sure.

 | Feather sequin collar Stunning beaded chain collar with glossy black sequin 'feathers'. Sturdier than most the creased blade shaped sequins give this statement piece great shape and volume.
Unsigned but couture quality.
Circa 1970, metal has a nice deep patina, fastens with clasp hook.

A high Art Deco design in plated pot metal with the hand carved centrepiece flanked by early Czech glass rhinestones that glow rather than sparkle. Unsigned, probably French or German.
